FileZilla Server is another product from FileZilla Client. This is an FTP server supported by the same project and support features for FTP and FTP via SSL / TLS. The FileZilla source code is placed on SourceForge.net. This project appeared as This Month's Project in November 2003, In December 2017, FileZilla users criticized that SourceForge and the FileZilla developer bundled the installer with malicious software in the application.

FileZilla Server open source software that is commonly used by people to transfer or move data from or to the user's web hosting account. This software can be used free of charge and can help you to move large files quickly and certainly safely.

FileZilla Server Features :

The main features of FileZilla Server are:
Site manager Allows users to list FTP sites and their connection data, such as the port number to use, the protocol used, and whether to use anonymous or normal logs. For normal logs, the username and password will be saved. Password storage is optional.
The message log is displayed at the top of the window. This feature displays console-type output that shows commands sent by FileZilla and responses received from the server.

File and folder view Shown under the log message (Message log), provides a graphical display interface for FTP. Users can navigate folders and view and change their contents on local computers and servers using the Explorer style interface. We can drag and drop files between the local Client and server. Transfer queue is displayed along the bottom of the window, showing the real-time status of each active queue or file transfer. Since version 2.2.23, FileZilla uses internal Unicode. As a result, FileZilla is no longer running on Windows 9x / ME.

The FileZilla Server  binary version for Mac OS X no longer supports Mac OS X v10.4 "Tiger" or earlier versions. Running FileZilla with an older version of Mac OS X v10.5 'Leopard' requires compilation. The FileZilla program is widely applied and used by users of computer and internet networks. FileZilla is free software. FileZilla can be run on the Windows XP operating system, Windows Vista, Windows 7, also available for Linux and Mac OS. To install the latest version of this program, your Windows computer only has a hard drive with FileZilla Server minimum capacity 10MB.
